Book Review
I've only started reading the book "the secret circle" which is by LJ Smith. This author is also known for writing the well known book "the vampire diaries".
I haven't finished the book yet but I will share and review where I am up to.
The book opens up with Cassie living with her dad in Cape Cod. Reading a guide on the what to know basics. Her life in Cape Cod is miserable having to deal with her two brothers. The only thing motivating her now is the fact she keeps telling her herself "one more week and then I can go home.
The starting is actually pretty boring, its long and dragging. Hopefully the book gets better as I read more of it.
P.S Miss, I will update this again when I'm halfway through the book. (:

Poem
I stand in front of the mirror lost in it's presence,
Wondering what is my life purpose,
I stare deeper into the clear glossy mirror,
I ask myself why?
I see myself dying.
In the mirror I see my life,
Happiness and living the perfect life,
All dreams coming true,
I see a strong and fearless man,
A man who could have everything he ever wanted,
A happy ending
In the mirror I see pain and sorrow,
Death and tragedy,
Re-living the past,
Remembering the unwanted,
I see my misery,
In the mirror I see my reflection,
Bold and True,
But disappointment fills my eyes,
Only seeing myself,
A sad and lonely boy who is trying to find himself in this world.

Inspiring teacher
I decided to type my home learning...
I honestly think the teachers i got this year are excellent teachers. Its so hard to choose to write about one. But...
I nominate my tutor teacher Mrs Petero as the most inspiring teacher.
The reasons why:
First off she is my tutor teacher, shes kind, nice and funny . She does everything a normal tutor teacher does but does it in a fun but in an educational way. Shes a role model to us students and is always showing the 10 independent qualities.
Shes enthusiastic and is always happy. The best thing about my tutor teacher is supportive and helps you to achieve the best in you. She keeps us on track and is always checking up on us. Shes always encouraging us to try our best at everything and to give everything ago even though we may not be good at it.
Having a tutor teacher like her is possibly the best thing. She is different to other learning leaders and truly inspiring .She is not only inspirational but also one of the best teachers at Alfriston college.

0lympic 0pinions: HOTDOG EATING or ANY OTHER COMPEITIVE EATING SPORT
I honestly think at least one eating competition should be in the Olympics, I don't just mean those silly eating competitions where you have to eat a banana the fastest. I mean like a serious eating competition like for example the "Nathans Hot Dog Eating Contest" which is held annually on every July 4.
Some foods where they have competitions for;
hamburgers, hot dogs, pies, pizza and even whole turkeys.
Whole turkeys? Wow, imagine eating a whole turkey, I reckon I would be full for ages if I attempted to eat a whole turkey especially in 15 minutes. I reckon if I did, i would feel traumatized about turkey eating and would never eat turkey again.
Personally I think an eating competition should be an Olympic sport as it is different and yes eating is a sport. It is also known as competitive eating or speed eating. And yes like any other sporting events people who join eating competitions train for the event to. Surprising right?
Some competitors in eating events train several months before the competitions in order to increase their stomach capacity and eating speeds. Stomach elasticity is usually considered the key to eating success.
Some ways competitors train is drinking a lot of water over a short period of time in order to stretch their stomach to the max. While others drinking up to 6 liters of water whilst eating low calorie foods such as vegetables. Others chew a whole lot of gum just to strengthen their jaw muscles.
I honestly think this process of training is dead scary, as many things could go wrong during your few months of training.
Competitions last usually for about 8-15 minutes. A world record for most hot dogs eaten is 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes. That's crazy. And in that time the competitors must eat as much food in front of them. Like any other sport there is also a commentator who to announce whats happening to entertain the audience. During professional matches there are also judges who weigh the contestants plates at the end to see who's eaten the most. The person with the least amount of food is the winner.
Wouldn't this sport be interesting? I certainly think so. I believe that the IOC should at least consider putting this sport up in the Olympics in the future. Although I don't think this sport will be ever considered due to its dangers and risks that could happen due to this sport.

Olympic's Greatest Moment
The most memorable moment in Olympic history was on September 19th of the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea. Greg Louganis was into his 4th day of the 3 meter springboard competition. Leading the competition in the 11 dive springboard event. He was on his 9th dive when he cracked his head while trying to attempt a reverse 2 and1/2 somersault pike. He falls awkwardly into the water whilst the medical teams come and wait for him to emerge from the water. He emerges soon after and says to the medical team just temporary stitch it up I've got to more dives. 35 minutes after the crashing into the water he gets two temporary stitches and completes his last two dives. Shortly after his finishing of the event he is taken to hospital to get 5 stitches to last him the rest of the Olympic games. And surprisingly he still manages to snag gold with 740.80 and takes out first place. I admire his determination and perseverance to finish the event despite his injury on his head. I reckon this is a great example of a person who never gives up in order to reach his goal.
I think this is not the greatest but one the most memorable things that has happened in the Olympic Games.

Collaborative Story : The final PART
Read the part before this from Ameleigh`s Blog here
I
begin to scream but nothing literally nothing comes out of my mouth. It feels
like I’m falling but not in a good way like I’m falling to my death. I then
begin to think this is all a dream. I’m bound to wake up sooner or later. A few
seconds later I start to pinch myself actually anything that can try to wake me
up. I try everything to pinching to punching and slapping myself. But nothing
worked. I think to myself “I’m dead” now. I might as well lie down in mid air
and pretend I’m dying I’m going to die anyway. I then start to notice my body
is starting to disembark from each other. Body parts flying everywhere here
there and surprisingly their all mine. But what really shocks me its not hurting
at all, it still seems like I’m still in one piece. I then start to scream but
this time I not only here mine but also my evil twins the same thing is
happening to her. Our two screams is enough energy to blackout the whole of Manurewa
Wonderland that’s only if I’m actually still there. But then something unbelievable
happens the floating body pieces of start to change places my head is now where
my belly button is and and my arms and legs start to change places. I yell to
myself “this is madness, crazy madness”. But again it still doesn’t hurt. I
then begin to see a light which blinds me and thought to myself “goodbye world
, goodbye parents and mom I’m sorry it was me that actually pee’d on the floor.
I begin to prepare into my death.
I see a light then black out. I start to dream and see pigs actually flying and cows actually jumping over the moon and a dog telling me to wake up. All of a sudden, its a blur.
I then got
startled by a big bang and soon begin to rejoice cause I'm not dead but soon begin to check my body parts and quickly check
every body part is where it is suppose to be. After a quick and thorough check I
begin to wonder where I am? And the constant repeating question where my twin
is and what does she want with me?
The thought
of this keeps giving me a headache. My buzz soon ends as I begin to roam the halls of this place. I then stare at a wall with lots of
newspaper clippings, with my jaw hanging down looking like it’s broken.
I read the
title in shock “Zombie Apocalypse Virus Sends Paris Down”. Oh My god I’m in the
future. At that point my I hear zombies trying to beat down the door. But at
least it’s a double proxy door, what’s the worse the worse that could happen. I
was wrong just then the doors begin to crack. I suddenly hear a loud boom and just
then my twin rolls down the hall with a flying tractor that speeds up to 120km
an hour. She yells “get on, unless you want to be food”. I did not hesitate and
climbed on and not a split second after the glass broke. Zombies running
everywhere trying to eat our brains acting like crazy mentally challenged people. But luckily we flew off just in time.
We had
a whole lot of talking to do, but getting away from the Zombies is this story
getting to know my twin, finding all the answers to my questions and finding
out what caused this and why is whole totally different story.
PS. WE WIN!
